Saiyaara Title Song - Full Lyrics with English Translation
Tu paas hai, mere paas hai aise
You’re close to me, so close
Mera koi ehsaas hai jaise
Like a deep emotion within me
Tu paas hai, mere paas hai aise
You’re close to me, so close—
Mera koi ehsaas hai jaise
Like a feeling that’s always been part of me
Haye mai mar hi jaaun
Oh, I might just die
Jo tujhko na paaun
If I can’t have you
Baaton mein teri main
In your words, I get lost
Raatein bitaun
And spend all my nights
Honthon pe lamha lamha
Every moment, on my lips
Hai naam tera haye
Is only your name
Tujhko hi gaaun main
I sing only for you
Tujhko pukarun
I call out only to you
Saiyara, tu toh badla nahi hai
Saiyaara, my love, you haven’t changed
Mausam zara sa rootha hua hai
Only the seasons seem a little upset
Saiyaara, tu toh badla nahi hai
Saiyaara, you’re still the same
Mausam zara sa rootha hua hai
It’s just that time has turned away from us
Beete lamhon se duniya basa loon
Let me build a world from the moments we shared
Main toh tere aasuon ka bana hoon
I was made from your falling tears
Meri hansi mein teri sadayein
Your voice lives in my smile
Teri kahani khud ko sunaun
I tell myself your story again and again
Yaadon ke taare
The stars of our memories
Tootenge kaise
How could they ever fall?
Mere hain jo, woh roothenge kaise
How could what is mine ever leave me?
Beete dinon ki kholi kitaabein
Those open books of our past days
Guzre palon ko kaise bhoola de
How can I forget those moments gone by?
Haye main mar hi jaaun
Oh, I might just die
Jo tujhko na paaun
If I can’t have you
Baaton mein teri main
In your words I stay
Raatein bitaun
And spend all my nights
Honthon pe lamha lamha
Each passing moment on my lips
Hai naam tera haaye
Is only your name
Tujhko hi gaaun main
I sing only for you
Tujhko pukarun
I call out only to you
Saiyaara, tu toh badla nahi hai
Saiyaara, you’re still the same
Mausam zara sa rootha hua hai
Only time has drifted a little
Jis roz hum tum phir se milenge
The day we meet again
Yeh saari baatein tujhse kahenge
I will tell you everything
Duniya mein chahe bann jaayein jo bhi
No matter what the world becomes
Tere bina tab kuch na rahenge
Without you, nothing will mean anything
Haye main mar hi jaaun
Oh, I might just die
Jo tujhko na paaun
If I can’t have you
Jo tujhko na paaun
If I can’t be with you
Main mar hi jaaun
Then I might just fade away
Honthon pe lamha lamha
Each moment on my lips
Hai naam tera haaye
Is still your name
Tujhko hi gaaun main
I sing only for you
Tujhko pukarun… Ho Ho…
I call only for you… Oh oh…
Theme/Meaning:
The song conveys deep longing, emotional intimacy, and the enduring nature of love, even in separation. The speaker feels their beloved is always close—like a feeling or memory within them—and cannot imagine life without them. Despite the pain of distance, their love hasn’t changed. “Saiyaara,” an Urdu word meaning “wandering star” or “traveler among the stars,” symbolizes the beloved as someone ethereal, beautiful, and distant—like a star that shines from afar but feels unreachable. The speaker holds on to memories like constellations that never fade, believing it was only Time, not love, that separated them. The song is a poetic reflection on timeless love, loss, and the unshakable connection between two souls.
Behind the song “Saiyaara Title Track 2025”:
The story behind the soulful track “Saiyaara” from Mohit Suri’s film is as moving as the song itself. Created by two young Kashmiris, Faheem Abdullah (aka “The Imaginary Poet”) and civil engineer-turned-lyricist Arslan Nizami, the duo had no industry ties but took a leap of faith by traveling to Mumbai to pursue their musical dreams. On the final day of their two-week trip, they met composer Tanishk Bagchi, who introduced them to Mohit Suri. Impressed by their talent, Suri gave them a shot at composing the film’s title track. With lyrics by Irshad Kamil and Faheem’s emotive vocals, the song became a viral hit, earning acclaim for its haunting melody and heartfelt emotion. “Saiyaara” marked a breakthrough for its Kashmiri creators and became a beloved romantic anthem across India.
